DIY: Wedding Emergency Kit

Here is a quick list of things that I would throw into a quick emergency kit. These are just things to have for backup especially if you do not have a wedding planner (they usually bring their own). I will continue to add to this list over time, hope it helps. Happy Planning!!!

Antacid
Antihistamine, cold remedy
Any prescription medications
Aspirin, Tylenol, or Advil
Band aids
Ointment / Vaseline
Hard candy
Smelling salts
Tampons, pads
Sunscreen and/or umbrellas
Pepto-Bismol
Dusting powder for before pictures are taken
Hair spray, brush, barrettes and/or bobby pins
Hand lotion, handy-wipes, Kleenex
Spray on moisturizer
Makeup
Perfume
Nail polish in shade worn, & remover
Nail clippers and tweezers
Small hand towel
Toothbrush and toothpaste
Mints
Attire
Miscellaneous
‘Throwaway’ garter.
Clear nail polish for runs in hose
Earring backs
Emergency buttons
Flat shoes or ballet slippers (if necessary)
Iron and/or spray bottle
Pantyhose
Safety pins
Masking tape (last-minute ripped hems)
Small sewing kit, including thread for all dresses, wedding party
Flower tape (for boutonnières or corsages)
Quick dry glue (for broken shoe buckles)
Directions to reception – extra copies
Itineraries – extra copies
Phone numbers of all service folks
Pen and paper
Small flashlight
Batteries
Cell Phone
Something to drink, like a bottle of water
Straws (for thirsty brides and bridesmaids)
Dried Fruits, nuts, and water (for hungry brides and bridesmaids)
Coloring books & candy for children
Rubber bands
Music CD – backup

Extra cake knife
