The Wedding took place between Nora and Eric at the George Ranch Historical Park, South of Houston, TX on St. Patrick’s Day. They had a green theme, but they kept to a really chic country style. Nora, the Bride, had the vision and the hard work to put so many projects together herself, and Eric helped her along the way make her visions come to life. They kept the Wedding small and only had their closest friends and family in attendance.
The ceremony took place inside the old Chapel on the Ranch, and the Reception took place in the old historical Post Office Building. The day was perfect for a Wedding, and all the guests were all so happy to be involved in the celebration. Nora had photobooth props, hats and masks, and also sticks with ribbons attached to the end. The guests took these to a whole new level wearing them on the dance floor.
My favorite part of the whole night is when the Bride’s two sons, who told Nora they were never going to dance at the Wedding, had their first dance with their Mom and the other son cut in on the dance to surprise her Mom by dancing with her too. Both sons ended up dancing the night away for the rest of the party!
The Bride wore beautiful antique jewelry given to her by Eric’s mother. Eric’s mother received the jewelry from her husband. Both the Bride and Groom’s father had passed away, so they were represented at the ceremony through pictures placed on the altar during the ceremony. The two or such wonderful people and totally in love. They had a fabulous Wedding.
